Joan Carol (Hyson) Page, 64, of Stuarts Draft, passed away Sunday, April 08, 2012 at her residence.

She was born July 4, 1947 in Baltimore, MD, daughter of the late Theodore Hyson and Lillian Moran Hyson.

Joan moved to Lyndhurst, VA in 1978. She worked many years at the Stuarts Draft Elementary, Middle, and High School cafeterias.

She was an Elder at the Hermitage Presbyterian Church and participated in many volunteer programs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Charlotte Balderson.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Lester Page; her sons, Daniel Page and Justin Page both of Texas; her grandson, Declan Page; her brothers, Ronald Hyson and his wife Feeney, Richard Hyson and his wife Missy, and Bobby Hyson and his wife Ilene; her brothers-in-law, Gordon Page and his wife Bonnie, William "Bill" Page and his wife Kathy, Byron Page, Jason Page and his wife Verla; and many nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday April 15, 2012 at Hermitage Presbyterian Church by Rev. H. Wray Sherman III.

There will be a reception for family and friends in the church social hall following the service.
